    Opinion Needed

Yea I know, opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one, so my question is:

Which would you buy if you could and this would be just to have and no competition matches,

    Glock 17L or a Glock 34.

    Thanks,

    17L for collectability

34 for shooting. I find my 34 is pretty perfectly balanced.

My question - why not buy both

I had a G34 Gen3 and shot 5000 + rounds thru it. Great fun gun! I was very accurate with it! Only reason I sold it a friend was wanting to buy it from me for almost what I paid for it. So I sold it. I didn't change the sights cause it was a range gun for me. At that time I EDC a G23. The adjustable rear sight was a plus! I liked it! Now if I were to buy one your asking for it would have to be the G17L. I have never shot one but It looks fun! A dealer told me it's like shooting a rifle! I laughed! I like the G24 as well! Whichever you decide have fun!

I'll stay with the 34. That's really a nice gun.

I love too go to the range, but at my age, any shooting I do is with my Carry gun, a G30s simply just to hone my self defense shooting. My House gun is another G30s also. I just want the same "feel" when I pick up my gun at night, or if I have to draw it for a purpose in the day. I use to own a lot of guns. I've just "consolidated" my pistols.

I get the feeling this is gonna be a "range" gun. It that's the case, like I said, I'd go with the 34. If you're lookin for a range gun, and something "rarer"...and more expensive...go with the 17l.

Or...just get yourself a good Shotgun!!
