Why doesn't Glock build a gun the size of a19 chambered in 45 ACP? Seems as though that would be the perfect carry 45. Just wondering!!!
Doesn't the G30 have a shorter grip though?
But isn't the grip on the 30 shorter than the 19?
I just did a generic measurement, and the 19 seems shorter than the 30 by an 1/8". But like I said generic. The closest thing you will find will be the 36. If Glock decides to make a gen4 36 it most likely will have a shorter grip.
With the round size, pressure, and velocity a 9mm frame/slide will never be the same as a 45.
If you have a G19, you can purchase a complete slide assembly for the G32 (.357Sig) or G23 (.40). The 357Sig round is a beast of a round and I think like it better than the .45. The 357sig, to me, has the power of the 45 with less recoil and is like a laser beam... I mean, imagine a 357 round in a .45 cartridge... that sums up the 357sig.
r u kidding me right now???????its called a glock 30S......1/8 OF AN INCH SKINNIER THAN GLOCK 30.....SAME SIZE SLIDE AS A 36......THE ENTIRE GUN IS A SMIDGE OFF FROM A 19 AS A MATTER OF FACT I HAVE 2 GLOCK 19 HOLSTERS THAT THE 30S FITS.PERFECTLY...CANT DO THAT WITH A GEN3 GLOCK 30 OR SF OR GEN 4 30.........................
