OK, half inch shorter, quarter inch thinner, 4 fewer rounds, .380 instead of 9mm

    --------G42---G26---diff--
    length 5.94" 6.41" 0.47"
    height 4.13" 4.17" 0.04"
    width- 0.94" 1.18" 0.24"
    rounds .380 9mm
    # rounds 6 10

So not much smaller than a G26, fewer rounds, smaller caliber.
    I guess I don't see the point.

It looks like a nice little lady's gun, but it isn't small enough to displace my J frame as a pocket gun, and if it needs to live in a holster I would rather have a G36. I bet they sell a lot of them though.

A lady doesn't need a "nice little gun". She needs a gun with stopping power, same as a man does. Half inch longer, quarter inch wider, and a woman can have a 10 round 9mm - a gun with stopping power.

I've got a LCP w/ a Ct laser & finger extension that fits well in my jeans pocket when using a Uncle Mikes #3 holster. The G42 isn't too much bigger and I'm sure that very soon there will be a finger extension made for the magazines. I already have a Glock 19, 21 & 23 so a G42 will add to the collection.

Only real negative I've heard so far is that one reviewer complained that their T&E gun didn't like the pointed Hornady Critical Defense rounds, but fired JHP Gold Dots without any issues. Which was the opposite complaint of the LCP when I bought it several yrs ago.

Wife wants one....carries a Kel-tec 380 for backup. Always wanted Glock to make a 380, cause she's a Glock fan long time...
