Nice purchase...now you can get bit by the AR bug and go spend triple your initial investment decking it out with bullshit.

-Good CHF barrel with a nice aluminum "railed" handguard - i like M-LOK
    -Magpul flip-up sites
    -Good ergonomic Magpul Stock
-Polish the trigger or get a 2-stage
-Optics will quadruple the initial price - aim point or MRO = 400-500
-Also can caliber convert to almost anything imaginable
-50 or so mags just incase

In all seriousness, enjoy! These things are as addictive as Glocks...and multiply similarly.

Does it have the QD mount under the buffer tube? That should have a flip up rear sight from the factory. Does it have heat shields in the hand guard?

You can get a AR47 upper for that. I gotZ one of these PSA AR47 16" Carbine Heavy 7.62x39mm 13.5" Lightweight M-Lok Nitride Upper - with Hybrid bcg & ch and one of theeZ PSA AR47 16" Carbine Heavy 7.62x39mm 13.5" Lightweight M-Lok Nitride Upper - with Hybrid bcg & ch

Did you have any trouble getting the 7.62x39 upper to run? I hear they are finicky with mags and gas settings...and bolts shear easily.

Both of mine are midlength. My problem has been the mags. I had bought 20-30rd, and 2 20rd ASC's. The lips were way to tight and actually put deep scratches into the steel cases. Lots of tilt in the followers. I got pissed and called ASC. The sent me a shipping label, I sent them all back. 5 weeks later I called and the engineer said he would check them and repair them. I got a notice they shipped the same day. I got back 22 brand new 30rd mags. From the factory the first ones had the springs in backwards. All of the 30's. I bought them from J&G Sales, and Primary Arms. I bought 2 C Products mags. I world of difference in the finish, welds and coating. Hardly any tilt. I have not tried to run anything of the new mags so far. I doubt I will get to the range anytime soon.
