I tried one and just could not get it to work for me, it was too much bulk under my wranglers which I wear kind of tight.

Sometimes they work better when you wear shorts or sweats, clothing that normally won't support a holster. loose fitting clothing

Thats probably what was wrong and it is rare that I wear shorts or sweats but I can see where the belly band would be more practical then.

There are a ton of reviews on youtube on it. I really like the versatility of it because you can take the holster off it and use it for under the desk or next to the bed side. yeah I'm kinda a fanboy of them but man they work and have a great warranty.

My wife and I both have the "belly-band" type holsters to wear under our cloths but the wife uses her's a lot more than I do. They are a very good investment for CCW.

thats a nice belly band, I like the idea of the velcro holster.

one problem I have is the price will climb every time you add to it, mag carriers are another 32.00 and an extra holster for another gun is 32.50. you can be over a 100.00 in no time

So if you don't remove the lug, does drawing the gun cause the belly band to be pulled up along with the combat holster and the gun not to come out properly?

Also, what if you do remove the lug...Does this cause the gun to fall out of the holster too easily? I want to be able to be active - running, etc. - and not have it fall out.

yes on the lug part, it makes the gun want to pull out the holster too. the gun fits in the combat holster very snug and there is no way that I can see it wanting to come out even with out the lug in the bottom of the trigger guard. here is mine with a g26 with 11 rounds upside down and it holds just fine. if you don't have one of these holsters they are a well spent 14.00 because you can do so much with them Click image for larger version.
