Hello, I'm Dan.
I am an NRA life member and I read Shooting Times, American Rifleman, American Hunter, and America's 1st Freedom magazines as well as a few others.
I've been shopping and searching around for a while with no real success so here I am.
I am coming to you all to ask you for advice about holsters.
Any Glock 22 owners here??
What holster do you use? Does it allow for attached accessories?
Would you recommend it?
I own and love my Glock 22 Gen 4.
Here are the features I would like in a holster:
+ability to holster pistol with an attached accessory, i.e. flashlight and/or laser sight
Things I'd rather avoid:
-strap that retains pistol
This holster is for use for instance at a private range, where I can simply reholster after completing a session or between sessions, like when I will be simply loading a new magazine and not required to put the pistol back in its case.
I'm open to ideas. I was originally thinking something accessory less like a fobus thumb release holster.
Possibly later for use if I move to a state with open carry or if I get a carry permit or ccw in a state that issues them (NJ is a 'will not issue' state functionally. Overall NJ is relatively hostile to gun owners..)
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Please respond with ideas, suggestions, recommendations and anything you think I've probably overlooked in my holster shopping experience.
Is there anything anyone has found that fit what I'm looking for?
Is there any avenue for me to look if there is not a product on the market that does what I want?
