    Used night sights

Do you think that there would be a problem buying used night sights? I saw this on EBay:

Trijicon Night Sights for Glock Bright Tough GL04 | eBay

I'm thinking about it, but I don't know if it would be a problem.

    1. Depends on how old they are. NS generally have a life of 12yrs.
    2. In the description he said he did some sanding on the rear sight to get them to fit.

I have no problem buying used NS...only if they are in the package or I can inspect them first.

I bought used trijicons and had no issue. Now for the warning. I spoke to someone from Trijicon recently about having old lamps replaced in Glock sights. I was advised to send the entire slide in and not to remove the sights. Per the service representative, the rear sight has a hollow base and is soft steel that will compress to adjust for dovetails that are a little tight. Once removed the sight can be too loose to resist movement when bumped if reinstalled. I lucked out with mine but if the gun they were previously mounted on had a slightly undersized dovetail, you could be screwed with a loose sight.
