Good time at the range today.

Haven't shot in a month or two so I went to the range today. It was a good time. There was an older couple (70s) there and they were very nice. He taught her how to shoot. Just goes to show you, you're never too old to learn something new and there was a guy with his son (17) also very nice. Took turns shooting and checking targets, talked in between mags, and showed off each of our weapons. No one was in any hurry. The guy had a sweet Kimber 1911, the trigger on it was like butter. The older man had an older Colt Python which was also very nice. But none of those compared to my Glock 23 (sarcasm). All in all it was a good trip, I did manage to shoot off some rounds.

Looks like you had a good time. It's nice to have fellow enthusiasts to hang and chat with. Why I became a member of this forum. A lot of my friends are die hard 1911 fans and frown on poly guns.

Was shooting 7-10 yards. I like them, but doesn't matter what I shoot at. These just show hits better.

They are pretty cool. They have a layer underneath that makes it easier for your shots to show up and then you can "repair" the target with the little stickers. You can stick the entire target onto something else like a box because there is a adhesive on the back.

I'm liking how this sounds. The guys get in needless arguments about double shots and shots on "the line". Spend more time arguing than shooting at time, lol.

Yeah, those repair stickers aren't gonna help that one much. lol
