I did this to mine too. I think it looks sharp. I did the letters white on my slide and did the mag numbers too. Easy. I used white nail polish and non-acetone nail polish remover. I can always use a toothbrush and the non-acetone remover to quickly take it back to stock if I want. I didn't do the finger grip grooves on the rear of the slide though, just the lettering.
