    Glock 29 question

I am new to Glock and I read alot about people shooting Underwood ammo or Doubletap ammo in the 10mm that have changed the recoil spring. Do I really need to do this? I will be shooting 75% Blazer and Hornady and such. I would not think Glock would make a gun that needs to be upgraded from stock to shoot ammo that is not over pressure or is this just a upgrade that people prefer. I have shot 135gr Cor Bon with no problem. What are the symptoms of needing to change the recoil spring. Thanks

I would not think you would have to change anything. I have shot the cheaper blazer and more pricey buffalo bore wth no problems. I think Tex cowboy is our 10mm expert. I am sure he can offer more info.

OK, here I am. I have shot both the Buffalo Bore and Winchester Silvertips and some range ammo that I dont remember the brand. No problem with any of it. No need to change recoil spring. The G20SF and the G29SF are great handguns! Out of all my Glocks I have to admit to shooting the G21SF RTF2 the most as the ammo is more afforadable. I did shoot some remanufactored ammo in the two 10MMs once but usually i shy away from anything but factory ammo.

Enjoy your G29 it is a tough, flat shooting handgun.

With ammo flying off the shelves at hefty prices right now I am holding on to my ammo supply.

Most Glocks will shoot anything you give them but there are a few that you just can't please. Just like people.
