    This cop got mugged while jogging:

    Off-Duty Officer Stabbed, Robbed In Northeast Philadelphia « CBS Philly

    I wonder if he was carrying off duty or not. I happen to know that not all cops carry when off duty.

    He probably was not carrying as there was no report of a weapon being stolen also.,

    The only place I don't carry my model 27 off-duty is while I am on the beach. When I leave my house I am always armed. It is better to have it and never need it then need it and not have it.
