I'd use either a polymer-tipped punch or a short piece of dowel rod and just tap it back into place. You may have to take the mallet and punch to the range to make sure it's centered for windage. Stock Glock sights are easily tapped out for replacement. Should be just as easy to tap them back into place. (HINT: Your shooting may benefit greatly with a decent set of replacement sights. Stock Glock sights are, IMO, the pits.)

Stupid question: What is a polymer-tipped punch?

Also, the front site was bent over just a tad. Wonder if I can encourage it to be straight again, or if I'll have to replace it. Can't believe I did this.

Okay, I just used the plastic handle of a cheap knife to gently hammer it back into place. I also beat up on the front site a little until it looked at least more normal than it did. I guess I will fire a few rounds from it this evening and see how the sites are doing.

Still can't believe I did this. I feel traumatized, lol.

tap it back on with a block of wood. you will need to support it against a hard surface and tap lightly until it centered

It's usually an aluminum or steel punch with a polymer tip inserted in one end so it doesn't mark up whatever you're beating on

I'd also add that if you "bent" a plastic front sight, now would be a REALLY good time to install a set of steel aftermarkets. Just sayin' is all.....

The great news is that it's a Glock... worse case scenario, replace with a set of sites of your choice...

Even factory Glock sights can be found dirt cheap from someone upgrading to aftermarket sights
