Hello all! Bill from Wilmington, Ohio (1/2 way between Cincinnati and Columbus) here.
Joined a few days ago and I've already found a lot of great information.
Just bought my first Glock (G19 gen3) about two weeks ago but I still haven't made it out to the range yet.
My handgun experience is minimal. I also own a Ruger Mark II 22lr which is fun to shoot (when I can find ammo). I had been looking for an EDC for a while. I had done a lot of research but hadn't had a chance to fire anything. I went to the range with a friend who brought his 19. Got a chance to put several mags through it. From the moment I put my hand on the grip, it just felt right. There are many other reasons I like the 19 but I'm sure you all already know them. I was finally able to round-up the cash AND find a 19 in stock; now I just got to make it to the range and put some ammo down range. I'm also looking forward to trying out my buddy's new G20.
I would like to thank everyone for all the great information you've shared and I look forward to reading even more. I'll put in my 2¢ when I can but that will probably be a while.
