    Exactly, the article states it would take the sheriff's department 9 minutes at the quickest, a lot of things can happen in those 9 minutes. Now the school can potentially contain/neutralize a threat within seconds and it's not like they just handed the administration firearms, they completed a 40 hour training course along with a background check.

    40 hour training corse taught by local SWAT team members, background check, drug test and mental evaluation. Repeat annually. Great program to assure school safety.

    9 minutes...That's an eternity.

    And that's if there's not other things going on elsewhere. It's not uncommon for diversionary stuff to go on at the same time authored by the same group.
