    Yeah but 54 of 64 sheriffs signing the suit sends a loud message. They're elected so they're thinking the public supports them. I hope they're right

    It's more than just the sheriffs. Many CO businesses, disabled Coloradons, the NSSF and others are listed as well.

    It's a federal suit based on the unconstitutionality of the two laws and has some very good points. One key is that by banning mags that can be readily converted to more than 15 rounds (ie, any mag with a removable base), the idiots have ignored SCOTUS' ruling that laws can't be passed that prohibit common arms used by law-abiding citizens for lawful purposes.

    There's also a charge that the "universal background" law can't be followed as written; the federal angle on that is that FFL's are involved.

    So they're hitting it from the 2nd, 14th and ADA.

    It might just have a chance...fingers crossed!
