Question Would you be willing to submit to extra training to carry in more places

Some states have a lot of restricted places that a citizen can carry. Would you be willing to do some extra training for the right to carry in more places?

I figure the majority of people who hang around here are going to get more training no matter if it gives them more carry privileges or not. That said, it's a no brainer that we'd get more training to carry on more places!

I used to think that no one would say no but some people feel they have had enough training and any more is unnecessary.
And to prove my point look at how many people complain about taking a CCW class just to carry

As far as myself I believe you should have to re-do the class every 5 years to keep up on the current laws. Several states require you re-test to renew you’re drivers license every so many years, why not carry license. The class should be offered at a reduced price for current license holders. This would give the people giving the class more revenue. I also think the licensing class should be time spent on a rang with the people giving the class.

I go to the range about 3 times per month -- it's a social thing with my friends and we go out for dinner and beers afterwards. I've been meaning to take some real-life training (situational self defense) but haven't gotten around to it. If I had more of an incentive, I'd make sure I get that additional training.
Your mileage may vary. Batteries not included.

There is no such thing as too much training. Knowledge is always a good thing, its when you think you know it all, that's when you get yourself into trouble. I wish there were more classes and indoor ranges in my neck of the woods.
