    ..long(er)gun to the range today..

    took my Wife's Savage .17HMR to the (100yd) indoor range today for it's "exercise" - hadn't shot it in a while but didn't do too bad - the red square is 4", outside to outside - this 10 shot group is 3" but not counting the 2 "flyers" (in the red) the group is 1 7/8" (the 8 rounds in the "white") - I'm "OK" with that - need to get it outdoors and stretch out the distance to see what it'll do and also some fun targets (lollypops) at 100 yds

    Great rifle! I've got one myself. I love the stock on your wife's. It's a tack driver alright! Just gotta have good enough optics to see your shot with such a small round. The dirty bird targets help too. Lot of fun to shoot!

    I would (probably) get better groupings if I shot it more than I do - haven't shot it in 8-9 months, just making sure it still "shoots"

    I have the same gun. Shooting indoors with a bipod and accutrigger that rifle should be shooting groups the size of a quarter. Try taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly maybe?

    Nice rifle! I just mounted a scope for my neighbor who has same rifle. Good accurate gun.
