Colt AR15-M4 at Walmart...

After looking over a Colt M4 at Walmart I have decided to treat myself to one and put it on layaway ...
The quality and the weight of this AR looked and felt great ...Never thought I would buy something like this at Walmart ....
This will be my Christmas gift to myself....

ZombieKiller57,

Not sure how long they'll last or the political winds will change with Obama...If you don't already have one , I would but one away sooner than later...

You got to move to the free state of PA.... We respect folks gun rights here...

P.S. Can't really kill Zombies with one of these baby's ... "lol"

texcowboy thanks,

This was my second attempt to purchase one ,folks were lining up for the Colts and the Sig AR's...
Wal-Mart will not let you handle the AR if it does not have a gun lock, if you buy it they escort you out the store with the gun...Oh brother...

No worries there Alex, I have more black rifles than my 2 hands can handle. I'm always on the look out for a good deal. My last acquisition a few months ago was a (pre-company sale) 1996 Bushmaster XE2 chrome lined heavy barrel 5.56. I think I put up a pic in the black gun forum. Still waiting on glass but I plan on going with an Aimpoint Comp Pro and a Aimpoint 3x multiplier with this one

Please let me know when you're set up one, love to see it and any advice on optics will be more than welcomed when I get my M4...
Thanks....

My Walmart has the DPMS for $597.00 and the Sig M400 SRP with Prismatic Scope is $897.00 Walmart exclusive ... The Colt's M4 are $1097.00...

About to start work on 2 AR builds before this new ban gets under way. Hope to get my stuff before the prices start going way up. It's hard to find parts now after the Election.......

I originally had in mind to save my penny's for a FN SCAR in 5.56 but after handling the Colt M4 at Wal-Mart I was shocked, it had the best fit and finish I had ever seen on a AR...I kept on saying to myself I don't believe I'm looking at this rifle in Wal-Mart, I never dreamt I would buy a rifle at Wal-Mart, boy was I wrong ....

Don't get me wrong the SCAR is a great rifle but it's not three times better then the M4 in my humble opinion... The SCAR would have cost almost three times the money , I can now take more than half of that money and invest it in build-up , optics , or stock up on 30 round mags and ammo....

P.S. And it's made in the good old USA!!!
