I have a cattle ranch with the constant threat of four rogue pit bulls.two three days ago all four dogs were killing another calf so I just happened to be wearing my 21 . When the dogs saw me two of the four made a bee line right at me. At about 20- 25 yards out I dropped the hammer on dog #1. My 21 has always been my go to handgun it is a powerhouse ,but when I Hit that bulldog with a 45 acp cartridge, called "pantera" 185 gr jhp very, very fast and,it ripped a hole and stopped that dog dead dead.Dog #2 did not even blink . No question he was going to do to me what he did to my cows.So at about 10 yards out I tapped him twice. GAME OVER! My 21 fits my hand so well and now I know it shoots very aggressive tac ammo very well . Anybody know were i can get more of those rounds or how to contact DOA? I got them from a freind and he says he does not remeber how he got the ammo

DOA--US Department of Agriculture ? if so its regular ammo just a bulk buy from the government (450 million rounds). there is going to be markings on the case

Sounds about right, the case stamps might just be a special stamping to designate that it is federal ammo (not for resale) but if you have a pic of the bullet itself it always helps

I couldn't find anything under DOA; BUT the Gov. did buy up 450 million rounds of 40 cal. fed HST's to be distributed amongst a verity of agencies under the home land security blanket since their budget is flexible. I assume the DOA was given the ammo under the same conditions, some for of blanket buy
