I was thinking about duracoating my glock 19. Does anyone know about the wear on duracoat? does if come off over time or what?

Any finish will but duracoat seems to hold the longest. A good coating needs an epoxy and a clean surface (acetone cleaned) for a bonding to happen. Be careful with chemicals and a polymer surface, polymer being oil based some cleaners will have an adverse effect

put how cool is this:

My motto has always been "If it feels good, do it !". But really the finish on Glocks is all you need to last as long as you own the weapon.

Welcome to the forum...good advice above...If you're having someone do it, ask to see some of their work...and be sure they've done Glocks before...I refuse to be anyones test case...just my .02...
