Anyone who has carried a Glock 22/17, Glock 23/19 ,or Glock 26/27 what are your favorite holsters and do you prefer IWB or OWB? I'm looking for a new holster and would like some recommendations. I'd rather spend good money on one holster than a little bit of money on a lot of holsters. I'm currently only carrying OWB, but I'm curious as to the comfort, concealment, and safety of IWB. Any and all input is appreciated.

Thats like asking what is your favorite cereal haha your going to get ALOT of different answers. Ive owned alot of holsters but I always go back to simple, thin, one clip, kydex models. My favorite is the Foxx "trap". I cant help much with owb holsters because I dont really use them. I have a cheap Glock Sport Combat I use on the range sometimes.

Haha I just wanted some holsters to be able to look at from fellow glock carriers. Do you have any problems with the gun shifting around, or the holster coming with the gun when you draw?

No ankle love? I have the Galco Ankle Glove for my 27 and think it is great. Use the Blade Tech Nano for IWB. Have one for my 42 as well. I prefer kydex over leather as the break period of leather tends to annoy me.

Never considered an ankle holster, is it comfortable? I would imagine I would get one strong calf over the other one lol. Also, how would a reaction time be in terms of reaching for the ankle? Do you carry simultaneously?

The 42 is so easy to conceal I almost always carry it regardless. The ankle holster is way more comfortable for the 27. I'm pretty skinny and it is a fat pig.

Never any problems and it hooks under the belt so it cant come out while drawing. Super thin but strong enough, adds almost no bulk and can be taken off and on without unbuckling your belt. There are probably 50 comparable holsters but its the one I bought that I like best.

Thank you for the input! I have heard a lot about kydex and I'll look into them for my next holster purchase.

That ankle holster is actually leather but it broke in pretty easy. The Blade Tech Nanos I have are kydex.

I have a kydex for owb carry. Havent used it much yet but I really only got it for idpa where its not a super big deal if its printing or not perfectly concealed. I may use it for winter wear when I move to utah but im looking forward to getting a thigh holster or conceal purse when I get my cwp. It depends so much on ur body type and what you do/wear during the day. You may just have to buy a few to have for different scenarios.

I too have a Foxx trap holster for IWB appendix and love it for it my 26! Also have a Raven VG2 that a friend gave me and its OK other than you have to remove to re holster. I have 2 OWB holsters...Black hawk serpa level 2 that I love!! I use it only when riding my street bike since I wear full gear and its easy to get to and people tend to back off my ass when I open carry:) I just got a OWB Vigitac for winter carry...it sits really close to the body so can easily cover with a sweater or thin jacket. I'm always concealed other than on the Ninja.

I use the crossbreed super tuck for edc. Started using an alien gear holster for my G 20 when in the woods.

I was looking at these two options. What do you think of the Alien Gear compared to the Super Tuck? Did you get the AG 2.0 or leather backing?
