Finally cleaned it since I will be taking it to the range for the first time. It wasn't as hard as I thought. Used the solvent, oil, fancy tools and patches. Just felt like sharing lol. That's all.

Nice, be sure to come back with a range report and let us know how it went. It's pouring down rain here today so my range day is going to have to wait until next weekend.

Enjoy your range time! With a new Glock I always take it to the range right out of the box and usually dont clean it the first time until I have at least 100 rounds thru it.

One of the many nice things about Glock - easy to clean!
Have to agree completely! I can field strip and clean a Glock in half the time it takes me for my Ruger SR22! :)

Glocks are a joy to field strip/clean. As a personal policy I won't shoot any new gun until I've run a patch down the bore, though admittedly in my limited experience Glocks have not seemed to really need it. And once it is apart I would feel funny not putting a bit of oil on it before reassembly.

First trip to the range with a new toy is SO fun! Enjoy.
