I finally managed to get all of the pieces together for the Rowland conversion. Now it's a G30R Type R!!!!! ;)

Ingredients are:

G30

Wolff 23Lb recoil springs

Wolff Steel Guide Rod

Lone Wolf 460 Rowland Threaded barrel

EFK Fire Dragon Comp

Loaded up some Starfire Brass with 10.5 Grs of Longshot and some 230 FMJ. Brass flies 10 ft and is barely scratched. Recoil is not really much different than without the conversion. We'll see what happens when I get the chrony out and start tuning the load.

Thanks !

I managed to run some through the Chrony.

230grs averaging 1250fps. Not bad out of a 4" barrel. The OAL is just slightly longer than a G21.

11 grs of Longshot seems to do the trick.
