I currently carry a G27 converted to 357 Sig=just changed the barrels. Looking at the dimensions, it seems possible to convert a G29SF (10mm) to a 45 acp by dropping in a new barrel (mags and maybe a recoil spring as well).

What say ye??

Consideration of the spring is wise. Don't know off the top of my head if it's a different part for the 10mm, but would absolutely check and use if it is, along with the barrel and mag.

As far as swapping different generations may require a different recoil spring assembly. A gen3 G23 uses the same RSA as the Gen3 G19. Not so with the Gen4. There are different.

However my Gen4 G27 has the same RSA as the Gen4 G26.

I don't own a G20, or 29. I do have a Gen4 G30, and a Gen4 21. Nothing in 10mm, so far.
