Good morning everyone! Please, please, please help me understand the logic behind this thought (lack of) process.
I won’t or can’t carry a G34, because it is to Long, big, bulky or what ever else people use for excuses NOT to carry it; but those same said people will carry a G19/17 with a Surefire X300UA or B attached to it????

The length of the Surefire X300U attached to either or G19/17 is the exact same length as a G34!!!! How do I know you might ask, I have all 3!!!!!! The logic is severely flawed! Even if you say “the G34 is to long to pull out of a holster”, same length as a G19/17 with X300 attached! At least with the G34, you’ll have the extra sight radius and added velocity.

The only argument that I can figure/find, would be a Holster for a WML for a G34. Or, the G19/17 is quicker for Close quarters sight acquisition…..

Please tell me your thoughts and ideas, and why you think I am on target or off the reservation.

I can’t say much as I don’t carry with a light anyways but logically, what you’re saying seems dead on.

I have no problem doing what works for me. I was in a Instructor Course and another time in a PSD Class, and numerous students and 3 instructors were all toting the topic for their own philosophy.
I don’t care if want to carry two .50 cal Desert Eagles! I agree, you do you, I do me, maybe we don’t, maybe we agree!!!! I think that some people really have no idea what they are doing or why they are doing it! I also believe, if you’re an Instructor, you damn well better be able to explain your teachings and thought processes!!!!

I carry a gen. 1, 10mm Glock 20 I bought when Bill Clinton was in office and I’m older than the gun. I carry a small 9mm Glock in my pocket also. You never know what you’re going to run into these days. People all supped up on drugs are hard to stop.

I’ve carried a 34, 41, 20, 21 at different times. I do carry concealed, but the 34 and 41 were OWB in Don Hume holsters. I’m not required to remain concealed, printing is not an issue. I don’t anymore, the 19x is the King of Glocks for me.
