New guy from Farmersville Texas, wanting to say hello. Am the proud owner of a new G26 Gen4, and am soooo pleased with my purchase.
Have been shooting handguns since I was a teen, but within the last few years gotten really serious. A year ago, I bought my second polymer pistol, a Springfield XD-40 4" service. Liked it so much that I bought another in the sub-compact version. Found myself shooting 200-400 rounds every 2 weeks and the 40 s&w ammo cost was eating me out of house and home. The 9mm quest began. There was already a XDm 3.8 compact 9 in the close family, and didn't want to get another replica.
So what did I do.....I drank the Glock Kool-aid, and found out that "Resistance is Futile" The G26 will be my new major range tack driver, and conceal roll. We shall see how this little man holds up.
Some say, they love one and hate the other. Not I. Different is good, as long as it "feels" good. I really like and shoot both extremely well. You will see me around, welcoming others and participating. Look forward to learning all the ins and outs of the Glock pistol.
