KungFuSuperMan, The way you describe the brass exiting straight back and hitting you in the face sounds very much like an extraction issue. I recently completed the Glock Armorer's class (would highly recommend it to everyone!! Best eight hours I've ever spent, and fun too!), but I digress, the instructor told of issues with brass somtimes coming straight back and said there might be an ejection problem that is easily corrected. I'd highly suggest you take it back to the store where you got it and ask that they check it over else get to a shop where someone like a Glock Armorer can tear down the weapon and inspect it. Just my two cents for what it's worth. Stay safe!
