Just acquired my first Glocks - a 19 and a 27. Traded two XDs for them. Applying for CC permit next week after taking course and not satisfied with carrying the XDs. Like the size, feel and overall shooting of the Glocks. Look forward to learning more from everyone here.

Welcome. I just got my Glock 34 too. I still have my XDm-9 compact and is my primary CC for now. I probably will switch to my PF-9 after break-in. Good luck with your CC permit. Except for the shooting test, the whole thing was loooong and dry, but you learn a few things....

I use the G22/23 on duty and off couldn't pick a better side arm for the job since they are everywhere now. Been shooting Glocks since the academy in '05 and love them. Durable, reliable and "private proof...aka idiot proof". I'm a certified Glock Armorer and have had no business at all...damn things don't break down.
