Guess that would have been a good time to have a dud round...definitely not a case of "ammo envy"...sorry, couldn't help myself...

He is being charged with 'Reckless Discharge", I'll bet that is the only 'reckless discharge' he will have for awhile.

As far as carrying one in the chamber, that is the only way I carry, but I use a trigger block on all of my Glocks.

I always carry ready to fire, but prefer to keep my finger off the trigger when not firing, use a holster, and insert into holster carefully :)

+1...treat it like a revolver...keep it ready to shoot
