Hi, can any one recommend red dot for Glock 23 gen2
Thank you for helpYou'll want to decide on your optic first to be sure you get the best mount for that optic. Your best option would be a Dovetail mount - this replaces the rear sight on your Glock so co-witness sights is not an option. But it's a reasonable way to get a mounting plate onto a Glock without cutting the slide.
Here's one example by Trijicon https://www.trijicon.com/products/details/rm44 This is designed to mount their RMR's to a full sized non-MOS Glock. It could be adapted to other red dots but my personal opinion is if you're not planning on running a Trijicon buy a mount specific to what you will use.
Thank you , my do not have railRed dot sights are a good choice, it shows the point of aim right on the target. I think that would make a great self defense sight.
With my cheap heart, I would use a flashlight Mount.
