Basically, I was too gentle during reassembly. The slide got stuck before it was in completely back on the frame. I basically gripped the slide as if I was going to break it down and did a series of rapid but not too hard jiggling motions and after about a minute or less, the slide popped on all the way

The gun was clean as I just cleaned it. I believe I just went far too slowly and gently while I was putting slide back on and it got caught up. I was hesitant to use too much force to try and correct the issue, thinking that something might not have lined up correctly inside and I did not want to risk bending anything inside

I do believe most things that happen, are due to operator error, whether we like to admit it or not !

Hopefully, others benefit and don't make the same error that I did. Sometimes you just have to be firm.
