I've owned multiple Glocks over 20 years, starting with Gen3, if I remember correctly. Shot many thousands of rounds, mostly .40 in G22, G23 & G27. When I bought Gen4 G22 & G23, the (what looks like) chrome plating on the frame's four-point slide supports chipped off on the first use. After several thousand rounds on Gen3 models, the plating never wore off. Glock said nothing to worry about, it's cosmetic. OK.

Recently bought a G45. Haven't fired it yet. Went to disassemble and very difficult to remove slide, get maybe about an inch of forward movement then stops. Finally wiggled it off and found what I believe is the ejector, to be bent towards the right side.

In the picture is G22 on left and the apparently useless out of the box G45 on right. Note difference in ejector pins. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Called Glock today. They said the bend is normal for 9mm. Just need to play with it a bit as well as shoot it. That should clear things up.
